Community Art Market
On Friday, July 31, six Charlotte painters affiliated with ArtPop Street Gallery will show and sell original work from the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolinas Realty office in SouthPark. The work spans oil painting, abstracted cityscapes, botanical and coastal landscapes, impressionist still lifes, mixed-media portraiture, and abstract painting.
Tim is a REALTOR® and the founder of QC Home Advisors. He put this evening together as a way of bringing the Charlotte community around something worth showing up for. Wine and charcuterie are on him. Free Range Brewing will be providing beer & Range Water, a clean seltzer made with seasonal ingredients.
ArtPop is a Charlotte-based nonprofit that places original work by local artists in unexpected public and private spaces. Each of the six participating artists is affiliated with ArtPop’s program. This office is one of those spaces.

Ann paints botanicals and coastal landscapes with quiet precision. Her work has appeared on billboards across Charlotte and in Times Square through ArtPop’s Cities Program, and is represented by Carolina Fine Art in Cotswold Village.

Born in Santiago, Chile and a Charlotte resident since 1997, Doris creates abstract work with realist tones using oil, shellac, and India inks. She is a resident artist at StudioWorks and Nine Eighteen Nine Gallery uptown.

An architect turned painter, John builds layered oil cityscapes using palette knives. His work is in corporate collections including Honeywell and has been exhibited at the Mint Museum, Elder Gallery, and the Charlotte Art League.

Jude paints people and abstracts using vibrant color and layered texture. A resident artist at StudioWorks in Charlotte’s Dilworth neighborhood, her work has been shown from the Eastern Shore to the Rocky Mountains.
