Mint Hill Madness is a four day celebration of the founding, with a carnival, live music and artists’ booths, and it pulls people from across the Charlotte area. The Carl J. McEwen Historic Village keeps a set of historic buildings downtown recreating early 1900s life and hosts the farmers market on Saturdays from May through October. Stevens Creek Nature Preserve runs a nature center with exhibits and classes and four trails.
